At 007 Venture Partners, we are drawn to founders who build with conviction, clarity, and care. Not just products, but platforms. Not just automation, but intelligence.
In the global enterprise market, where $400 billion is spent every year on workforce consulting, HR systems, and manual analysis, we saw not just another HR software company, but a team solving the problem that every incumbent ignores: what happens after the data is collected.
That's what Acceler8 is here to fix.
A New Kind of Workforce Intelligence
Acceler8 is building what others have been too comfortable to attempt: a truly agentic workforce intelligence platform for the enterprise. Not good as in "good enough." But good as in continuous, actionable, and designed from the ground up for the decision-makers who need it most.
Instead of forcing CHROs and CEOs to rely on quarterly consultant decks or disconnected HR systems, Acceler8 gives them a full-stack intelligence platform. AI interviews and assessments, succession planning, org simulation, and ROI analysis, powered entirely by a proprietary multi-agent architecture. No McKinsey engagement required.
What makes this personal: across our work with many companies, one gap has consistently stood out, a lack of clarity and structure around ambition, execution, and growth. Acceler8 finally provides a system that makes aspirations tangible. It helps leaders clearly define what they're striving for, map out achievable goals, and translate them into concrete, actionable steps. It turns what is often abstract into something measurable and trackable. Just as importantly, it transforms how leaders support their teams, giving visibility into where each individual is on their journey, how to level them up effectively, and where time and energy create the greatest impact.
The results are already speaking for themselves: Fortune 500 logos across 10+ countries.
From Modules to a Global Standard
Acceler8 is not just a talent assessment tool. The platform operates across three integrated modules: Talent Intelligence and Development, Succession Planning, and Workforce Planning. Together, they replace the entire workflow from data collection to executive decision, ingesting HR systems, running AI-powered assessments, simulating org changes, and surfacing recommendations on who to promote, redeploy, or develop, all in two weeks instead of six months.
The compounding intelligence layer is equally important. As enterprises use Acceler8, the platform builds a proprietary workforce graph specific to that organisation, capturing org structure, competency models, capability signals, and decision outcomes that general AI models simply do not own. Every new customer deepens the moat. Every month of usage makes the intelligence more accurate and valuable. That is a flywheel no consultant can replicate.
Why Now
The macro environment has never been more aligned for what Acceler8 is building.
AI is compressing organisational change from years to months, but the tools enterprises use to make workforce decisions still operate on quarterly or annual cycles. The CFO sees revenue in real time. The CEO and Board remain blind on workforce decisions. Workforce, typically the single largest cost in any enterprise, is still allocated based on data that is months old, filtered through human consultants, and synthesised into static decks that are outdated on delivery.
At the same time, traditional incumbents such as Workday, SAP, and McKinsey remain structurally unable to solve the decision layer. HR systems record the past. Consultants produce one-off analyses. Neither operates continuously. That gap is Acceler8's opening, and it is widening as AI reshapes every role in every organisation faster than annual planning cycles can respond.
The Founders
The best founder stories are the ones where the problem is deeply personal. Chinmay Chauhan's is exactly that.
Growing up in Mumbai, Chinmay watched his mother run a small business with nothing but grit and a paper ledger, hustling every day to make ends meet with no financial tools to support her. That image never left him. After earning his Computer Science degree from IIT Bombay, one of India's most competitive institutions, he could have taken a comfortable corporate path. Instead, he became PM #8 at Grab, helping drive 21x growth as the company scaled across Southeast Asia. He then channelled everything he learned into BukuWarung, a bookkeeping and digital payments platform built for 60 million micro and small businesses in Indonesia. He raised $80M from Founders Fund, DST Global, Goodwater Capital, and Y Combinator, processed $1.4 billion in annual payments for 6.5 million businesses, and scaled the company to 400 employees. BukuWarung reached a valuation of approximately $250M, and Chinmay was named Forbes 30 Under 30.
It is a remarkable story of resilience and ambition. Now he is applying that same conviction to the enterprise, building an intelligence layer that unlocks opportunity for people and organisations the system has historically overlooked.
His co-founder, Trisha Pathak, brings an equally rare combination of perspectives. She studied both Neuroscience and Theatre at McGill University, a pairing that translates directly into understanding how people think, what motivates them, and how to communicate ideas effectively. She later attended Wharton as an HR Fellow and Stanford GSB, before building a standout career in people strategy. She became one of the youngest Directors at a Big 4 firm, leading workforce restructuring for more than 30 companies at PwC, and later served as Chief People Officer at a global energy company operating across 35 countries.
She has personally bought, delivered, and lived the exact services Acceler8 is now replacing. The neuroscience shapes her understanding of human behaviour. The theatre sharpens her ability to read and influence a room. Her experience at PwC and as a CPO gives her precise insight into what enterprises value and pay for. It is a rare and formidable combination.
This is not a team theorising about HR transformation. They have lived it on both sides.
Why We Invested
At 007VP, we invest in founders solving hard problems at scale, especially those building foundational infrastructure for how enterprises operate in the AI era.
Acceler8 fits that mission precisely. It is a capital-efficient, high-velocity, category-defining company led by founders with the rarest qualification: they have lived the problem they are solving. Chinmay understands firsthand the cost of poor workforce decisions at scale. Trisha has delivered the exact engagements Acceler8 now replaces, across dozens of organisations and countries.
What stands out most is the sales velocity: signing enterprise customers in a matter of months rather than the traditional 6 to 18 month cycle. That level of compression happens when founders speak the language of their buyers because they were once those buyers.
We are proud to invest alongside a16z Speedrun and Golden Gate Ventures, with 16 prominent angels including senior leaders from Google, Nium, Whirlpool, Gojek, and Cooley.
Acceler8 is also our first investment from an a16z Speedrun cohort and the only Singapore-headquartered company we backed from the program. With exceptional founders and strong roots in APAC, we are excited about what lies ahead.
Beyond credentials and co-investors, we believe deeply in what Chinmay and Trisha are building.
We believe the $400 billion spent on workforce decisions deserves a better solution than periodic consultant outputs. We believe agentic AI, deployed thoughtfully with enterprise-grade security from the start, is the infrastructure that enables continuous workforce intelligence at scale. And we believe that a 5x ACV expansion in six months is a clear signal of genuine product-market fit and recurring value.
That is what Acceler8 is building.
The Road Ahead
The vision is bold, and the execution so far has matched it.
At scale, Acceler8 is positioned to become the defining platform for AI workforce intelligence, similar to what Workday became for HCM in the cloud era, but built natively for a world where AI agents operate alongside humans in every organisation.
The platform also aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals 8 and 9. By helping enterprises identify capability gaps, develop talent with precision, and dynamically redeploy people where they create the most value, Acceler8 enables more productive, resilient, and future-ready workforces. It also empowers individuals through personalised, continuous coaching, helping them grow with clarity and intention at scale.
As the team continues to convert its pipeline, expand across modules, and strengthen its proprietary workforce graph, we are proud to support Chinmay, Trisha, and the Acceler8 team on this journey.
Because when an enterprise gains a true intelligence platform, it does not just make better hiring decisions. It gains the foundation to build a better organisation.
And that is what Acceler8 delivers.
